An all new episode of TBS Superstation's RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT!(R) premieres on Wednesday, July 25, with fascinating stories from around the world, including a man who lost his legs in a mountain climbing mountain climbing, the practice of climbing to elevated points for sport, pleasure, or research. Also called mountaineering, it is practiced throughout the world. Types


There are three types of mountain climbing.

Other highlights from the July 25 episode include the following:
-- Valentino Scissorhands: Medal-winning hair stylist Valentino LoSauro gives
hundreds of demonstrations each year. As one of the most in demand stylists in
his field, LoSauro is also an inventor who uses his recent invention, a mini
razor attached to each of his fingers, to cut and style hair.

-- Milk Squirter: Jim Cichon is able to drink milk through his nose and squirt
it out of his eye. He can squirt milk over six feet.

-- Dog Hair Clothing: Colette Wilson uses handmade yarn to knit, crochet and
braid beautiful clothes. But, this is not ordinary yarn; it's actually dog hair
that she spins herself. Wilson uses the hair from her own dogs for her
sweaters, but she also is commissioned to produce yarn and clothes for anyone
who wants it done. She has even made a dog hair bikini.

-- Real Life Survivor: During his U.S. Army survival training, Mark Hogg was
sent to the jungles of Panama, where he had to eat bugs and worms to stay
alive. Now Hogg is a regular bug connoisseur.

-- Lip Plate: Women in a small village in Ethiopia wear clay lip plates to
stretch their bottom lips 15-20 centimeters in diameter. The process begins in
their teenaged years with smaller clay lip plates. Over time the size of the
plates are increased. For the first time in her life, a woman will remove the
lip plate.

-- Sea Foam: A mid-July weather phenomenon caused the coast of Uruguay to be
covered by sea foam. The winds were so strong that the foam was found a couple
miles inland, and one town was covered in the foam for more than two days.
