A LA CARTE EXOTIC ICE CREAMS AND SORBETS.

Actually, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate still rule, but it's fun for diners to check out the more obscure, sometimes quite creative, flavors (spelling) flavor - US spelling of "flavour". of ice cream and sorbets that are available as cooling desserts on restaurant tables this summer.

So here are a few restaurants where the adventurous palate will discover ice creams and/or sorbets worth a try:

Belvedere

Flavor(s): Carrot-cardamom

Flavor(s): Orange-basil, citrus-tarragon and beet, have been some of the complimentary sorbets served between appetizers and entrees. Look for bleu cheese and/or tomato ice creams as desserts.
