Iceberg lettuce has received a bad rap of late. But most eaters will have to agree that, with or without nutritional value, it's the most refreshingly cold and crunchy lettuce of them all when served correctly.

Here are a few restaurants that still consider an iceberg salad, sometimes in wedge or heart form, worth serving:

Arnie Morton's of Chicago

Menu description: Called the Morton's salad, it's a cool combination of iceberg and romaine tossed with blue cheese dressing with chopped egg and anchovies.

Arroyo Chop House

Menu description: The house salad here actually consists of iceberg lettuce mixed with with romaine plus two cheeses, Roma tomatoes and red onions. It comes with a choice of one of seven premises-made dressings, the chunky bleu cheese being preferred.
