O'Brien's other acceptors Westphalia and Set Sail are expected to wait for the French 2,000 Guineas a week on Sunday.

Ground conditions later in the week will determine running plans for both John Oxx and Jim Bolger, who are both doubly-represented in the 24 strong list of acceptors.

Oxx will not risk Arazan on fast ground, but might send Sea The Stars while last year's Dewhurst Stakes winner Intense Focus is expected to carry Bolger's hopes, rather than Gan Amhras.

Recent European Free Handicap winner Ouqba was supplemented to the colts classic, at a cost of pounds 30,000.

Meanwhile, impressive Nell Gwyn winner Fantasia fantasia (făntā`zhə) [Ital.,=fancy], musical composition not restricted to a formal design, but constructed freely in the manner of an improvisation. In the 16th and 17th cent. , Michael Bell's Sariska and the David Wachman-trained Marquesa were withdrawn yesterday from Sunday's Stan James 1,000 Guineas.

Jim Bolger is keeping his options open, leaving three fillies in the race, main fancy Cuis Ghaire, Oh Goodness Me and Maoineach.

Heart Shaped will represent Ballydoyle while riding arrangements for the Coolmore runners are unlikely to be finalised until a decision is made on the participation of last year's Moyglare winner Again and Pursuit Of Glory.

Shimah will be ridden by Delna McDonogh while Irish champion Pat Smullen will partner Serious Attitude.
