A Grip on the Wallet. (Whispers).

Get-A-Grip Records Inc. of Jackson, Tenn., is suing Central Advertising Inc. of Little Rock for a breach in an oral contract.

The suit filed Nov. 15 said the agency failed to provide adequate promotional advertising and owes the record company $7,500. The two reached an oral agreement Feb. 1, the suit alleges.

The suit also says Central Advertising "acknowledged breach of contract" with Get-A-Grip in writing on May 10.

Jackie Jackson, marketing manager of Central Advertising, was surprised to hear of the suit. She said she was unsure what services the suit referred to She also said she remembers doing business with Get-A-Grip in April. Jackson said little more other than that she was going to call her attorney.

Get-A-Grip's attorney, Jack Browne, did not return phone calls.
