A Great American.
Dear Teacher,
We have a compelling issue for you. A JS reporter speaks with teens
in Uganda, and we examine the thorny matters of teen smoking and the
indictment of Vice President Cheney's former Chief of Staff, I.
Lewis Libby. Most important, we honor an achievement of a great
American, Rosa Parks. It was 50 years ago on December 1 that she refused
to give up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama, bus, sparking the modern
civil rights movement. Her recent passing makes her story all the more
timely.
