Guided tours of the new 6,000 square foot facility allowed participants to see and learn more about the NanoArrayer(TM) technology and the research and manufacturing processes of a leading edge Nanotechnology- company. The ceremony also provided company representatives with a chance to recognize its many supporters and investors. Dr. Eric Henderson Eric Henderson (born January 8, 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a linebacker on the Cincinnati Bengals. He played college football at Georgia Tech, where he was part of a dominating Jon Tenuta defense. He was All-ACC first team in 2003, and All-ACC second team in 2004 and 2005. , founder of BioForce, envisions the company as the "Microsoft of nanotechnology". He noted that "many dedicated people worked through the company's lean years to bring BioForce to this turning point today." Mr. Michael Blouin, Director of the Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED IDED Iowa Department of Economic Development IDED Intra-Dimensional / Extra-Dimensional ) commented that the state is "proud to have had a part in the early steps" of the company.
