Indus Kohistani is a language of what is now northern Pakistan Northern Pakistan is the term used to refer to the high-altitude region in the northern part of Pakistan that includes 12 of the world's 27 highest mountains as well as three of the seven longest glaciers outside of the polar regions of the world. , noted for its complicated rules governing the two pitch-accents in compounding, derivation derivation, in grammar: see inflection.  and inflection inflection, in grammar.
