Smith, Antelope Valley Ford's used-car buyer, said his father participated in the contest decades ago. He remembers his father going to the barber shop to get shaved and wearing a badge to let people know he was a Whiskerino contestant. The contest is sponsored by ClearChannel Radio-Antelope Valley, which owns five local radio stations. The men's clean-shaven photographs are posted on the Foxsports610.com Web site.
