Lennie, real name Mike Berry, first appeared on TV in stand-up show The Comedians in 1971. Comedian Frank Carson, who appeared on The Comedians alongside Lennie, described him as: "A very good performer." Frank added: "Lennie was an absolutely wonderful fellow and we had lots of laughs together."
