Telrad Networks launched the Opus 4000 System, which enables users to provide value-added services A value-added service (VAS) is a telecommunications industry term for non-core services or, in short, all services beyond standard voice calls and fax transmissions.  for telephone networks, the Internet and cellular-communications systems. Among the services provided: Voice-Activated Dialing, Call Waiting on the Internet, Conference Calling, Services Requiring Voice Identification, Toll-Free Calling, Calling Cards and others.
