A COMFORTABLE RETURN TRIP TO 'OKLAHOMA!'.

Byline: - Evan Henerson

CAN MUSICAL theater - like clothing or home decor - be retro [Latin, Back; backward; behind.] A prefix used to designate a prior condition or time. ? Fashionably unfashionable? If so, then Rodgers and Hammerstein's ``Oklahoma'' figures to be A-OK for quite some time.

It's no mean feat to trump a show where - odds are - you will recognize just about every song in the score. A person risks leaving the Pantages Theatre There are multiple venues named the Pantages Theatre: Canada
  • There is a Pantages Playhouse Theatre in the historic Exchange District of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
with lyrics like ``Never have I wept into my tea over a deal someone doled me'' rattling around in his cerebellum cerebellum (sĕr'əbĕl`əm), portion of the brain that coordinates movements of voluntary (skeletal) muscles. It contains about half of the brain's neurons, but these particular nerve cells are so small that the cerebellum accounts for  like some kind of a tuneful tumor.

The touring ``Oklahoma!'' - which makes use of nonunion nonunion /non·union/ (non-un´yun) failure of the ends of a fractured bone to unite.

scuzzy - The usual pronunciation of SCSI.
Jud Fry (Andrew Lebon) and handsome cowboy Curly (Jeremiah Janes). Tomboyishly glamorous in her overalls, Burdick sings sweetly and spars ably. And, as advertised, she dances Ginger Thatcher's dream ballet A dream ballet, in musical theater, is an all-dance, no-singing production number that reflects the themes of the production. The plot, themes, and characters are typically the same--although the people playing the characters may be different, as the roles of the dream ballet are , usually performed by a ballerina double.

``Oklahoma!'' contains probably the dopiest book and plot in musical-theater history. When the music kicks in, however, it's easy to get swept into that all that corn - whether it's ``as high as an elephant's eye,'' or otherwise.
