 are manipulated in a lighthearted fashion. Squares and circles are used to demonstrate what happens to our perceptions when they change position, size, and color. There are ten chapters, each dealing with a design concept like contrast or balance or warm vs. cool colors. The very few words are often couched as questions and always tinged with a sense of humor Noun 1. sense of humor - the trait of appreciating (and being able to express) the humorous; "she didn't appreciate my humor"; "you can't survive in the army without a sense of humor"
