The villas are very spacious, very comfortable, and seem very new, with glorious views of the sea. If you have a two bedroom villa, then you will have two sundecks, one outside the master bedroom, and a great place to sit in the morning looking out and just relaxing in a dressing gown, whilst the birds cavort around, and the noises from the undergrowth are the way you know you are in the tropics.

There can be some confusion over when is a resort like this actually a self catering holiday, and when is it a hotel. Pelican Reef Villas Resort actually doesn?t have a restaurant, a lounge, so there are no meals, but there is a swim up bar in the pool, and a full service bar. You will probably want to hire a golf cart when you are there, as it makes you independent, and able to go into San Pedro which is only a couple of miles away. This is an interesting place and it and the area around are worth a couple of visits or even more.
