Barnes & Noble.com (Nasdaq: BNBN) (www.bn.com) announced today that it has published its first exclusive eBook, the long awaited The Book Of Counted Sorrows by best-selling author Dean Koontz Dean Ray Koontz (born July 9, 1945 in Everett, Pennsylvania), also known under a number of pseudonyms, including Leigh Nichols, is an American writer.

The Book of Counted Sorrows is the first title to be published by Barnes & Noble Digital. Barnes & Noble bookstores nationwide will feature in-store displays and promotions of the eBook, as well as many of other Dean Koontz titles. Dean Koontz will be kicking off the launch of his first eBook on Tuesday, September 11th at the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Barnes & Noble Superstore at the West Side Pavilion located at 10850 West Pico Boulevard Pico Boulevard is a major Los Angeles street that runs from Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica to Central Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles.
