bream

European food and game fish (Abramis brama) of the carp family (Cyprinidae). Found in lakes and slow rivers, the bream lives in schools and eats worms, mollusks, and other small animals.
 in the last match put the seal on Ian Whitson's title triumph in the Monklands Summer League.

Ian scaled 36lb 12oz in the final leg, fished on the Glenlaggan stretch of Lough Lough (lŏkh, lŏk). See lake.  Ken, with fish to 3lb, while Neil Bromilow headed the chasing pack to grab second place with 24lb 12oz.

Meanwhile, Drew McCluskey coaxed a near-6kg net of carp from Perthshire's Orchill Fishery to join Eric Morris, EwanWeed, James Woodrow and Ian Fewtrell in next spring's Ayrstrike Final.
