A BRISK WALK TO SCHOOL.Byline: The Register-Guard Teacher Barb Ewing leads students to Fairfield Elementary School elementary school: see school. on International Walk to School Day on Wednesday. Participants met near Petersen Barn Park and walked about one-third of a mile to school. Fairfield, one of several schools participating, got help from the Smart Ways to School program, which offers free services (O.Eng.
