A BOOM IN THE ARTS; SANTA CLARITA STAGE COMES OF AGE.Byline: Angela M. Lemire Staff Writer Rapid growth in the arts community these days can be measured by the nails, two-by-fours, velvet curtains and stage plankings that are shaping numerous performance centers throughout Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987.
