On Tuesday, they released ``JetHawks Nation'' themed artwork, a play on the ``Red Sox Nation'' fan club that's become wildly popular since Boston won the 2004 World Series.

The artwork conjoins ``Red Sox Nation'' colors and fonts with the traditional JetHawks logo.

JetHawks general manager Brad Seymour Brad Seymour (born May 3, 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer. He spent his entire ten year career with the Sydney Swans, playing in the grand final of 1996. Recruited from the Wagga Tigers, Seymour played as a defender. External Links

Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region, .

``It's kind of kickoff to the 2007 season,'' Seymour said. ``It's a way to tie in our logo with theirs that we believe will help brand us as Red Sox affiliates.''

Seymour said the JetHawks have already made strides contacting Southern California ``Red Sox Nation'' chapters.

``Their fan base is tremendous, and we're looking forward to working with them,'' Seymour said.

The JetHawks reached an affiliation deal with Boston on Sept.29, the day before the National Association's deadline for reaching such agreements.

Seymour said the JetHawks' primary focus will be marketing the team in the Antelope Valley, but he said the Red Sox affiliation offers a unique opportunity to tap into a fan base known for being among professional sports' most passionate.

``As the first Red Sox minor league affiliate in California in 50 years, we become a new home on the West Coast for this terrific fan base and look forward to inviting those fans to Clear Channel Stadium to see the Red Sox of tomorrow,'' Seymour said in a prepared statement.
