 VENTURE:COQ) ("Ced-Or") is pleased to announce that Investment Quebec, within the frame of the Immigrant Investor Program for Assistance to Business, will invest $ 400,000 in the form of a non-repayable contribution in its subsidiary Ced-Or Sawmill sawmill, installation or facility in which cut logs are sawed into standard-sized boards and timbers. ") value-added cedar lumber lumber, term for timber that has been cut into boards for use as a building material. The major steps in producing lumber involve logging (the felling and preparation of timber for shipment to sawmills), sawing the logs into boards, grading the boards according to  products manufacturing mills project in Maniwaki and Mont-Laurier.

This non-repayable financial contribution will be invested in CSI for a maximum of four (4) annual, equal and consecutive payments, the first one being payable at the earliest twelve (12) months following the agreement signature, or August 2005.

This financial assistance will allow CSI to make additions and technical upgrading to its two mills and to upgrade its cash flow.
