A&P Names William Costantini Senior V.P., General Counsel & Secretary.

:GAP) today announced that William Costantini has joined the Company as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary, reporting to Fred Corrado, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer.

He succeeds Robert G. Ulrich, who will retire from the Company this month.

Mr. Costantini comes to A&P from Olsten Corporation, where he was Executive Vice President and General Counsel. He was previously Vice President, Secretary & General Counsel of GEO International Corp., and prior to that served as Assistant Division Counsel for IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) .

A graduate of St. John's University School of Law St. John's University School of Law is a law school in Queens, New York City, affiliated with St. John's University. According to the 2008 U.S. News rankings, St. John's is ranked 70th among the top 100 law schools in the nation.
