A&P Names Nicholas L. Ioli, Jr. as Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer.

: GAP), announced today the appointment of Nicholas L. Ioli, Jr. to the position of Senior Vice President-Chief Information Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Ioli brings over 25 years of information systems and business process improvement experience to A&P with particular emphasis on the alignment of information technology to business goals and objectives.

Mr. Ioli will be responsible for leading the company's information system organization and creating an information technology strategy to support major strategic initiatives and objectives. Mr. Ioli will report directly to A&P Vice Chairman-Chief Financial Officer, Fred Corrado and will serve as a member of the Management Executive Committee.

Prior to joining A&P, Mr. Ioli served as Vice President-Chief Information Officer for Citizens Utilities Company. Previously, Mr. Ioli held Senior Information Systems positions with Ethan Allen, Saab Cars USA, Condec Corporation and Timex Corporation Timex Group B.V. is an American watch company. Timex's U.S. headquarters is in Middlebury, Connecticut. It has substantial operations in China, the Philippines, and India, with full-scale sales companies in Canada, the UK, France, and Mexico. .

Mr. Ioli is a graduate of Post College and received his MS in Management from Rensselaer at Hartford Campus
The main Hartford center is has a 14-acre landscaped campus readily accessible from both Interstates 84 and 91. The center of the campus contains the main building, the "Tower Building" which contains about 30 classrooms, each seating 10-50 persons.
