A&P Names Michael Snell as Vice President Deli/Bakery Merchandising.

:GAP) announced the appointment of Mr. Michael Snell to the position of Vice President Deli/Bakery Merchandising effective immediately. Mr. Snell brings over 25 years of experience in retail supermarket operations, product development and marketing to A&P.

Mr. Snell will be responsible for leading the company's merchandising efforts for all aspects of In-Store Bakery, Deli, In-Store Prepared Fresh Foods and Meal Solutions to support the company's Fresh Food strategy. Prior to joining A&P, Mr. Snell was Vice President and Partner, Premier Food Marketing. Previously, Mr. Snell held Senior Deli/Bakery positions with Edwards Super Food Stores, Mayfair Food Towns and Food Emporium.

Mr. Snell lives in Simsbury, Connecticut Simsbury is a suburban town in Hartford County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 23,234 at the 2000 census. The town was incorporated as Connecticut's twenty-first town in May 1670.  with his wife Ilene and two children.
