(A&P)(NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :GAP) today completed two separate and previously announced transactions for the sale of eight A&P stores in northern New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. to GU Family Markets LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol. LLC - Logical Link Control (Clifton Park, N.Y.), and seven Kohl's Supermarkets in Madison, Wisconsin Madison is the capital of the U.S. state of Wisconsin and the county seat of Dane County. It is also home to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The 2006 population estimate of Madison was 223,389, making it the second largest city in Wisconsin, after Milwaukee, and to The Copps Corporation, a subsidiary of Roundy's, Inc. (Pewaukee, Wisconsin). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Company said that Wm. Blair & Company served as financial advisor for the transactions. Founded in 1859, A&P was one of the nation's first supermarket chains, and is today one of North America's largest.
