A&M RECORDS RELEASES LETHAL SINGLE FROM STING, CLAPTON AND KAMEN
LOS ANGELES, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- A&M will be releasing "It's Probably Me," by Sting, with Eric Clapton, the main title song from the Warner Bros. May 15th picture "Lethal Weapon 3," starring Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Joe Pesci. The song was written by Sting, Clapton and Michael Kamen and also features performances from David Sanborn on sax and Kamen on piano. "It's Probably Me" will be released mid-June on A&M Records and the soundtrack is available on Warner Bros. (June 9).
In order to make the release date for the video, which is already on MTV, cameras were brought into the actual recording of the song, which took place at the BMG studios in New York last month. The performances that appear in the video weren't lip sync performances but the actual singing and playing that appears on the record.
