: ARTG ARTG Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods ), the software provider behind the Web's richest customer experiences, today announced that A&E Television Networks (AETN AETN Arkansas Educational Television Network (PBS) ), a global multimedia company that includes The History Channel(R) and A&E, has purchased ATG Campaign Optimizer(TM) as part of the evolutionary development of its online channel, which is powered by ATG technology.

Through its use of ATG Campaign Optimizer, AETN will be able to immediately increase its ability to conduct extensive split-testing of promotions and online content to more accurately examine the purchasing decisions and preferences of its customers. Unlike traditional split-testing solutions, ATG Campaign Optimizer offers business users the flexibility and ease-of-use necessary to conduct multiple tests simultaneously.

"Understanding which promotions and content are resonating more with customers is critical to our ability to provide the best possible online experience," said So Young Park, director of E-Commerce at A&E Television Networks. "Since initially launching on its technology in 2001, we have worked closely with ATG to transform our online channel into a vital component to our overall business success."

"A&E Television Networks continues to be at the forefront of a group of organizations that truly understands the potential of the online channel and the importance of interacting with customers in a meaningful way," said Cliff Conneighton, senior vice president of marketing, ATG. "As A&E continues to utilize ATG technology to create the best possible experience for their users, they can now change promotions and offerings for these customers on the fly, which is a win for the customers because they are offered relevant products they desire, and it is a win for A&E because they can make fast changes without tying up IT resources."

ATG unveiled ATG Campaign Optimizer and ATG Adaptive Customer Assistance(TM) in March 2004 as part of the ATG Customer Experience Platform.
