Another recent study indicated that genealogy is one of the fastest growing hobbies in the U.S., with over 60% of Americans interested in researching their family history.

AETN's web sites (www.HistoryChannel.com, www.AandE.com, and www.Biography.com) feature original databases, content exhibits, games and speeches, and attract an average of more than one million unique visitors A count of how many different people access a Web site. For example, if a user leaves and comes back to the site five times during the measurement period, that person is counted as one unique visitor, but would count as five "user sessions.  per month. Additionally, over 3,000 products are available from the AETN Interactive online stores, including the complete collection of critically-acclaimed home videos and DVDs from both A&E and The History Channel, and the entire "World of A&E" print catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library.
