Abbe Raven, Executive Vice President/General Manager, A&E Network, made the announcement today. DeBitetto's appointment is effective January 8, 2003 and he will report to Raven. In his new role, DeBitetto will oversee A&E's programming department, including the creative development of original movies, series, documentaries and specials, as well as acquisitions for the Network. Most recently, DeBitetto served as President of Original Programming, Turner Network Television Turner Network Television, usually referred to as TNT, is an American cable TV network created by media mogul Ted Turner and currently owned by the Turner Broadcasting System division of Time Warner.
