Company Named as Newest Additions to the @stake Executive Team

@stake, the world's leading digital security firm, announced the appointment of James Mobley as executive vice president, professional services organization and Gregory J. Tobin as vice president of marketing.

Both executive team members are based in the company headquarters in Cambridge, Mass. and will be instrumental in directing the overall company growth and expansion. Their appointments are effective immediately.

In their new positions, James Mobley will be charged with growing a premium professional services organization (PSO) that spans two continents and six regional offices. The PSO is one of @stake's fastest growing divisions and will continue to play a key role in the company's expansion. Mr. Tobin will be responsible for the strategic development and building of the @stake brand. By anticipating client needs and industry sector trends, he will create a comprehensive marketing plan that links both sales and services to build awareness and generate tangible results for the firm.

James Mobley joins @stake with over 20 years of high tech experience. At Compaq Computer Corporation, he most recently served as vice president of sales for North America professional services. He has a stellar track record of establishing operational excellence, increasing revenues, growing profits and achieving client satisfaction.

While at Compaq (formerly Digital Equipment Corporation), Mr. Mobley worked as the vice president of network and systems integration services. In this position, he led his professional services region to a record profit achievement level. He was also the thought leader for an innovative program which resulted in millions of dollars of incremental profits to the corporation worldwide. Before joining Digital, James Mobley held a succession of sales and executive management positions at IBM and in 1993 received IBM's National Leadership Award, signifying excellence in business unit management. He is a graduate of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.

Gregory J. Tobin, @stake's newly appointed Vice President of Marketing, brings extensive technology marketing experience to the firm. Prior to joining @stake, he served as a director at Meridian Technology Marketing, an Omnicom Company, where he managed over 10 client engagements with early and mid stage technology companies to aggressively build their marketing capabilities. At Meridian, Greg was responsible for the development and execution of corporate launches, positioning and enabling marketing programs across advertising, public relations and the web.

Before working at Meridian, Mr. Tobin was a team leader and strategist at Bain and Company, where he worked with both major technology companies and financial service providers to develop launch strategies to break into new marketplaces. He also brings over 10 years of practical IT experience, having held MIS positions at General Electric, Keane Associates, and the Norton Company. Greg Tobin holds a BS in Economics and Computer Science and a MS in Computer Science from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., and a MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
