(OTC BB:EPOS), a leader in Web-enabling the point-of-sale (POS) and creator of ReceiptCity.com, an Internet consumer receipt vault, announced today that Jeffrey Embersits has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations. These positions were previously held by David Licurse, who will now serve as Chief Business Officer, a new position created by the company to meet its growing focus on strategic business development. These changes in the executive staff became effective July 26, 1999.

Today's announcement follows @pos.com's recent announcement to reposition itself as an Internet services company with an integrated suite of Internet services and consumer Web portals. These new business offerings were introduced at a press conference held June 29, 1999 in New York City.

Jeffrey Embersits has fifteen years of international general management experience. Before joining @pos.com, he was a Principal for six years at Shareholder Value Management, where he provided strategic planning, finance, and operations consultation to high technology companies, including Oracle and Siemens. From 1991 to 1993, he had responsibility at Siemens Corporation for Strategic Planning, Business Development, Controlling, and Mergers & Acquisitions. His other previous experience included working as a consultant with Marakon Associates and Arthur Andersen, in Frankfurt, Germany. Mr. Embersits received his B.A. in German Language and Literature from Wesleyan University and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

David Licurse has served as CFO and Vice President of Operations of @pos.com since 1995. In a high technology career spanning nearly three decades, Mr. Licurse served from 1972 to 1994 in various senior managerial positions with Xerox Corporation, including Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for the company's manufacturing division, Controller for its computer strategic business unit, and Manager of Finance and Operations for a software division. He also served as CFO and Vice President of Operations at Inforite Corporation, which specialized in point-of-sale signature capture. Mr. Licurse holds an MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
