@Home names Interactive Bureau's Roger Black as Creative Director; Black to head content effort for innovative Internet access service.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 24, 1995--Media design leader Roger Black has been named creative director of @Home, the wideband Internet access See how to access the Internet.  service.

Black is directing the development of the user interface for the new network, and will be responsible for the design of its on-line operation, working as a consultant through Interactive Bureau, LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

Black will remain president of Interactive Bureau and of Roger Black Incorporated, an editorial design studio. He is a partner in six other studios around the world, which comprise Media Design Network.

Since 1987, Black has had "insider" relationships with key media outlets across the globe including New York's Esquire magazine, Mexico's Reforma newspaper and Spain's El Periodico newspaper.

"This way we are involved in the day-to-day issues of the media, and stay grounded in reality--which can be hard for isolated consultants", he said. "Now I'm moving to the digital arena, where at the very least, I can have a front-row seat at the invention of a new medium."
