99 Cents Only Stores(R) Announces an Organizational Realignment and Appoints Jim Parros Senior Vice President of Logistics.

CITY OF COMMERCE, Calif. -- 99o Only Stores[R] (NYSE:NDN) (the "Company") today announced an organizational realignment and in support of that, it has appointed Jim Parros as its Senior Vice President of Logistics.

Eric Schiffer, CEO of the Company, said, "I am excited to announce an organizational realignment that I believe will have a beneficial impact on our business. Effective November 1, 2006, we reorganized along more traditional business lines by combining the store operations, distribution and transportation departments under Jeff Gold, our President and COO. This will facilitate our store and distribution functions to work closely together as partners to ensure greater operational efficiency and in return, improved customer satisfaction. As part of this realignment, our vice presidents of buying and merchandise planning will report directly to me.

He started as Vice President of Logistics for Kids'R'Us and was promoted in 1992 to Senior Vice President of Stores and Logistics with the additional responsibility for all store operations. Previously, Jim was Vice President of Distribution for Mainstreet Stores, a division of Federated Department Stores, and prior to that was Vice President of Distribution for Gimbels Department Stores.
