98.3% of Customers Would Recommend Bendata and HEAT; Survey Extends Bendata's Position as the Industry Leader.

COLORADO SPRINGS Colorado Springs, city (1990 pop. 281,140), seat of El Paso co., central Colo., on Monument and Fountain creeks, at the foot of Pikes Peak; inc. 1886. It is a year-round resort and a booming military, technological, and commercial city. , Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March, 23, 1999-- Bendata, Inc. today announced the results of a second annual Customer Satisfaction Measurement survey. Conducted by independent consultant firm Strategies For Growth, of Westtown, Pennsylvania, the benchmarking survey was designed to gain insight into the needs, perceptions, attitudes and opinions of Bendata(R) customers with respect to the HEAT(R) product and the level of service they receive.

The survey found that virtually all(98.3%), of current customers would recommend Bendata and HEAT to other organizations. The new finding represents a slight increase over the benchmark 1997 result of 97.2%. These results can be contrasted with findings from an industry-wide 1998 Service Desk/Help Desk Satisfaction Study, from Real Market Research's, where only 73% of users were satisfied with their Service Desk solutions, and fewer than 73% were satisfied with their vendors.

William Pollock, president of Strategies For Growth, summarized the findings. "As we had reported in our initial survey analysis, the Bendata/HEAT customer satisfaction ratings attained in the 1997 Benchmark Survey were among the highest we ever see. However, the 1998 survey tracking results have shown widespread improvement across all of the customer service and support attributes measured."

"This data illustrates once again, Bendata's commitment to sustained excellence and continuous improvement in both products and customer service," said Vance F. Brown, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Bendata. "Bendata is ranked by leading analyst organizations as the clear leader in terms of vision, service and support. I am most proud, however, when I see those rankings validated val·i·date

--   Ease of Software Use;
