1, 10.15pm) NOBODY who is flying away on holiday next week is likely to want to watch the terrestrial TV premiere of this astonishing film. But, if you can stomach it, it's a masterclass in filmmaking by Paul Greengrass. The Bourne Bourne, town (1990 pop. 16,064), Barnstable co., SE Mass., crossed by Cape Cod Canal; settled 1627, inc. 1884. Bourne Bridge (1935), across the canal, made the town an entry point to Cape Cod and a resort and commercial center.  Ultimatum director tells the story of the brave passengers inside one of the doomed airliners on the day of the 9/11 terrorist attack. A film quite unlike any other and with a stomach-churning climax, it's ultimately a testimony of the love that ordinary people feel for each other.

Earlier, Phone Calls From The Towers (Channel 4, 9pm) features recordings of some of the victims from inside the towers themselves as they tried to speak to their loved ones.
