8TH-GRADER FINDS SAT FAIRLY `EASY' ON THE BRAIN.Byline: Alicia Doyle Daily News Staff Writer Thirteen-year-old Andrew Blackmore would have scored higher than 1170 on the Scholastic Assessment Test this year - if only he had turned over the last page of the verbal section and seen more questions on the back. ``I guess I just didn't see it or something,'' said Andrew, who scored 630 in math and 540 in verbal when he took the test in January. ``I didn't notice it until way at the end, when it was too late to finish.'' Andrew's score was higher than the average college-bound 12th-grader's, and he thought the test was relatively ``easy.'' ``Some parts were harder than others,'' said the Mesa Verde Middle School eighth-grader, who didn't study for the lengthy test. ``But it wasn't that bad.'' Andrew took the SAT for the first time when he was 12, after his mother, Maureen, signed him up for a mathematics and verbal talent search conducted by The Johns Hopkins University Johns Hopkins University, mainly at Baltimore, Md.
