WHAT: Opportunity to catch a first glimpse of the 1999 Rose
Queen(R) as she learns of her new royal title. The
Tournament of Roses 81st Rose Queen and the Royal Court
will preside over the festivities of this New Year's
tradition.
Before reigning over the 110th Rose Parade and the 85th
Rose Bowl Game, the Rose Queen and Royal Court will make
more than 100 media and community appearances.
WHO: After a month-long selection process involving more than
800 Pasadena-area hopefuls, one young woman from the
recently appointed Royal Court of seven will be named Rose
Queen.

Parking: Media may park on Tournament house grounds by
entering the lot off Lockehaven Street, on the south side
