Adam's mother, Kelly Ann Johnson, said she is proud of her son for knowing what to do and doing it while she was at work.

``He did a good job, and he really pays attention. I didn't think he was listening when I told him about 911,'' Johnson said. ``I told him if something happens, you are going to have to call 911. He said, `I know' and `of course.'''

Adam's father is proud as well as grateful.

``I'm very proud of him for picking up on the procedures so quickly, and caring enough to keep an eye on to watch.
