Despite the large margin of victory, Laguna Blanca actually jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a 3-yard touchdown by Stuart Felkner with 3:08 remaining in the first quarter. The Contenders responded two minutes later on a 1-yard touchdown by Roll en route to scoring 47 unanswered points.
