8 Cyprus bidders for west Limassol sewerage project.


The Sewerage sewerage, system for the removal and disposal of chiefly liquid wastes and of rainwater, which are collectively called sewage. The average person in the industrialized world produces between 60 and 140 gallons of sewage per day.  Board of Limassol -- Amathus (SALA) said that eight companies have bid for the second phase of the Limassol sewerage project that will cover the western part of the town where construction starts in early 2010.

This is the fourth contract in the E4 project for the construction of a piping network some 6km long for drainage and 37 km for sewerage, while it will also include anti-flooding provisions.

The bids for the project, that should be completed by the end of 2012, ranged from 12.85 mln euros to 16.98 mln.

The bidders are Medcon Construction and Loizos Iordanous Construction (joint venture), Miltiades Neophytou CEC&D, Charilaos Apostolides Public Co., Nemesis Construction Public Co., Atlas Atlas, in Greek mythology
Atlas (ăt`ləs), in Greek mythology, a Titan; son of Iapetus and Clymene and the brother of Prometheus.
 Pantou Co., Adelfoi Steliou Kounna and Vafiadis SA and FAP (language) FAP - The assembly language for Sperry-Rand 1103 and 1103A.
