Six main stages, each typically sponsored by a local radio station, were used to present dozens of bands playing a Festival Promoters, Alex Cooley and Peter Conlon will announce the full talent roster and detailed plans for the 7th annual festival during their first ever, on-line Press Conference available to media only. As one of the festival headliners, Roland will announce a major contest that will be given in conjunction with Music Midtown regarding Collective Soul's upcoming release on Atlantic Records On May 5, 6, and 7, Atlanta's springtime tradition returns with another year of music, food, family and fun! Music Midtown has found a new home of more than 35 acres located in the heart of Atlanta. With nearly 300,000 attendees at the 1999 Music Midtown, this year's festival will feature over 130 international, national, regional and local artists on nine (9) stages, increased local restaurant participation, and an expanded artist market with a performance stage and vendors selling arts, crafts, and merchandise.
