77 Hudson hailed as architectural landmark.

Sheathed in watery shades of blue glass, 77 Hudson, developed by K. Hovnanian Homes, the country's sixth largest homebuilder, will soon become a sparkling architectural landmark in Jersey City on New Jersey's Gold Coast.

This triangular-shaped skyscraper designed by the renowned architectural firm Cetra/Ruddy, is composed of two 48-story towers and features a dynamic glass curtain wall. 77 Hudson rivals any residential building found across the river and will unequivocally enhance the Gold Coast skyline.

One purchaser bought two homes located on penthouse floors 48 and 49 with a total of 4,188 s/f for a record price of over $6 million.

The triangular "stingray" shape with serrated corners affords most of the 420 condominium residences corner views and floor-to-ceiling windows lend abundant natural light and a feeling of expansiveness. Furthermore, 75% of the homes will enjoy breathtaking unobstructed river and downtown Manhattan skyline views.

Buyers at 77 Hudson can choose from three distinctive kitchen design schemes, each pre-planned by floor, for cabinets, backsplashes, stone or quartz countertops, and wood flooring to personalize their kitchens. These include an elegant selection of marble, glass and exotic woods. For master baths, light-toned materials in lustrous whites and rich textures create spa-like ambiance. Unique design features include chiseled quartz walls, glass mosaic plumbing wall, and a cantilevered wood vanity with double trough sink.

Residents of the 500-foot condominium tower will enter from Hudson Street into a 22-foot high lobby that echoes the building's theme of water vistas. A navy blue, stainless steel sculptural element houses the 24/7 concierge while acting as the centerpiece for the building. Other luxurious materials include a blue limestone floor, a curved teak slatted wall and sleek wood paneling in the private elevator lobbies.

77 Hudson will also offer hotel-quality amenities including an 8,300 s/f spa/fitness center with dramatic views onto an artfully landscaped 30,000 s/f outdoor roof top park with a swimming pool, walking paths and large expanses of lawn.

The current prices for homes at 77 Hudson range from the $500,000 to $2.75 million.
