77 Hudson design said to shine in Jersey City.

The VIP opening effort exceeded our expectations and led to the sale of the most expensive penthouse in Jersey City." One purchaser bought two homes located on pent-i house floors 48 and 49 with a total of 4,188 s/f for a record price of over $6 million.

The double layer of glass provides thermal insulation and UV protection, and while only an inch thick, is sealed with advanced methods for noise reduction. The glass curtain wall, while not a new device, is used in the very best buildings for a sleek look and a modern way of enclosing a building. In addition, according to Cetra, the structure has a higher assurance of waterproofing, ideal for windy Jersey City.

Residents of the 500-foot condominium tower will enter from Hudson Street into a 22-foot high lobby that echoes the building's theme of water vistas. A navy blue, stainless steel sculptural element houses the 24/7 concierge while acting as the centerpiece for the building. Other luxurious materials include a blue limestone floor, a curved teak teak, tall deciduous tree (Tectona grandis) of the family Verbenaceae (verbena family), native to India and Malaysia but now widely cultivated in other tropical areas.  slatted wall and sleek wood paneling in the private elevator lobbies.

77 Hudson also borrows design cues from the adjacent Paulus Hook neighborhood renowned for its historic brick townhouses; 77 Hudson's lower facade of red brick juxtaposes the historical past with the future fusing traditional and cutting edge elements for a harmonious blend.

77 Hudson will offer a new lifestyle alternative to New Jersey's "Gold Coast." The building will have hotel-quality amenities for its residents including an 8,300 s/f spa/fitness center with massage rooms, steam and sauna areas, screening room game room and Click Cafe, and a pilates/yoga room--with dramatic views onto an artfully landscaped 30,000 s/f outdoor roof top park with a swimming pool, and jetted tub. This vast green space features walking paths and large expanses of lawn for picnicking interspersed with gently rolling hills. Amenities also include an elegant lounge and entertaining space with illuminating hearth and private dining room with catering kitchen. The lounge, Cafe and game room open onto the park, which also features entertaining areas and a separate dog run. The project also includes a technologically advanced business center and a virtual golf club.

The current prices for homes at 77 Hudson range from the $500,000s to $2.75 million.
