715 thousand teachers inducted in KPK.

PESHAWAR, May 23, 2011 (Frontier Star): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has inducted 715 thousand teachers for the promotion of education in the province within past two years. Out of 23 districts of the province 697 teachers in Lower Dir, 64 teachers were inducted in Chitral and no induction was made in Dera Ismail Khan. In a report sent to Provincial Government and Federal Ministry of Education, it has been stated that during the years of 2008-09 and 2009-10 the induction of 75 % batch wise, 25 % open merit, 40% primary school teachers of union council, and 60% on open merit was done. In the suburb areas of Peshawar 692 PTC and CT teachers were inducted in the government schools. 193 in Charsadda, 663 in Mardan, 530 in Nowshera, 98 in Swabi, 215 in Malakand, 508 in Swat, 389 in Dir Bala, 203 in Shangla, 272 in Kohistan, 64 in Chitral, 96 in Battagram, 556 in Mansehra, 181 in Abbottabad, 221 in Haripur, 283 in Kohat, 200 in Hangu, 106 in Boniz, 72 in Tank, 97 in Karak, 95 in Lucky Marvat and 284 in Bannu PTC and Ct teachers were inducted.
