According to television reports, a suicide bomber rammed his explosive laden vehicle into a security checkpost outside the aeronautical complex killing five persons on the spot. Two more persons died on their way to the hospital, The News reports. The suicide attack came hours after an intelligence report revealed that the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP TTP (thymidine triphosphate): see thymine. ) and Al Qaeda are planning to target army convoys in Rawalpindi, Kharian, Multan and Okara cantonments. The report said the TTP chief Hakeemullah Mesud and Al Qaeda commander Sheikh sheikh or shaykh Among Arabic-speaking tribes, especially Bedouin, the male head of the family, as well as of each successively larger social unit making up the tribal structure. The sheikh is generally assisted by an informal tribal council of male elders.
