7 NJ brokers among C&W's Top 100 performers.


Cushman & Wakefield has named seven New Jersey brokers among its Top 100 performers in the country based on transactions completed in 2002. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , the company employs more than 850 brokers in 53 offices.

The brokerage team of Robert J. Donnelly of Flanders and Marc A. Rosenberg of Short Hills ranked number one from New Jersey. Investment sales professionals Andrew J. Merin of Fort Lee, David W. A Cushman & Wakefield broker for 15 years, Bernhaut is an executive director with the firm's Metropolitan Area Financial Services Group (FSG See Linux Foundation. ) in East Rutherford. During 2002, his team closed 23 investment sales transactions valued at more than $ 1 billion. This achievement earned the Metropolitan Area FSG the distinction as the top investment sales team within the global Cushman & Wakefield organization for the ninth consecutive year.

The Metropolitan Area FSG's record-breaking activity involved nearly 7.3 million SF of existing space as well as undeveloped acreage. Highlights included the $85 million sale of One Gateway Center in Newark, New Jersey, which Bernhaut's team orchestrated on behalf of the seller, Newark Acquisition LLC--a venture of Tishman Speyer/Morgan Stanley and The Gale Company--and the buyer, Advance Realty Group. Rosenberg has been a Cushman & Wakefield broker for 18 years. He has been named to the firm's annual listing of Top 100 performers since the program began more than 10 years ago and has ranked in the Top 10 brokers nationally in each of the last eight years. A member of the firm's Parsippany office, he earned his current title as executive vice president in 2001.

Rosenberg represents several of the nation's leading corporate entities in their real estate activities. In 2002, Rosenberg's team successfully represented AT&T in the sale of their headquarters in Basking Ridge, N.J., to Pharmacia.

Schiffer exclusively represents Daisytek International with its real estate activities in the United States. During 2002, he negotiated long-term lease commitments for Daisytek, including a 325,000-SF distribution facility in Tejon Ranch, California, and a 350,000-SF distribution center in Bethlehem, New York Bethlehem is a town in Albany County, New York, USA.
