While the brand is perhaps best known for big, brash trancey stuff these days, this is a much more mature affair, with a groovier house sound making it perfect for some chill-out poolside listening. Great stuff. MM FRANKMUSIK Complete Me Croydon-based Vincent Frank's debut album about his ex-girlfriend shows feels like re-living the electro synth synth n. 1. Informal A synthesizer. 2. Opening track Only If You Run is big and atmospheric and Skyscaper is a quiet acoustic song that builds into lots of layers. Worth checking out. AC SHE KEEPS BEES Nests This is an album to get excited about from Brooklyn-based vocalist Jessica Larrabee and Andy LaPlant. Larrabee has a mesmerising voice. Wear Red has a country feel and on Gimmie, her vocals fill the room. An album bursting with little gems. Once you're hooked you'll want more. AC |
