66 killed in jungle fighting.

Four soldiers died and eight more were wounded in the fighting, 130 miles east of the capital, Colombo.

Later, military snipers killed four more rebels in the north of the island.

The fighting comes a month after the government called off their longest and bloodiest offensive in which more than 6000 people died.
