The prominent international intimate apparel manufacturer has extended its commitment and leased an additional 16,500 square feet at 136 Madison Avenue Madison Avenue, celebrated street of Manhattan, borough of New York City. It runs from Madison Square (23d St.) to the Madison Bridge over the Harlem River (138th St.). In the 1940s and 50s, some of the major U.S.  located on the northwest corner of East 31st Street, bringing its total occupancy to 66,000 square feet.

Wacoal previously occupied the entire 9th, 10th and 15th floors of 136 Madison Avenue, comprising 49,500 square feet of space. While the firm's existing lease was due to expire in 2007, it also required additional space for its growing business.

As a result of the multi-faceted negotiations, Wacoal was able to extend its existing lease for a term of 15 years and at the same time expand its presence by taking the entire 14th floor of the property.
