63rd Street pedestrian bridge wins award.


An elegant pedestrian bridge over E. 63rd St., designed by Wendy Evans Joseph, FAJA, for Rockefeller University Rockefeller University, philanthropic organization in New York City, founded 1901 as the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research by John D. Rockefeller for furthering medical science and its allied subjects and to make knowledge of these subjects available to the , has won a 2001 Business Week/Architectural Record Award.

Joseph, president of Wendy Evans Joseph Architecture, was one of 11 winners from around the world cited by the magazines for good design and meeting strategic goals.
