Broad Street Development, owners of 61 Broadway, has signed three leases totaling more than 42,000 s/f at the property located in the heart of the Manhattan's Financial District.

The newest tenant to join the tenant roster is the law firm, Robinson & McDonald while American Lung Association and Loeb Partners renewed their leases for existing space. Raymond Chalme, principal of Broad Street Development, made the announcement.

Daniel M. Blanco, executive vce president and Jill Burrowes, leasing associate of Broad Street Development, represented 61 Broadway in the deals while Matthew Seltzer of Cushman & Wakefield worked on behalf of Loeb Partners; Mark Lauzon and Tom O'Halloran also of Cushman & Wakefield worked on behalf of American Lung Association and Michael Morris and David Wolkowitz of Newmark Knight Frank worked on behalf of Robinson & McDonald.

Loeb Partners, an investment firm that represents the interests of the Loeb family and its affiliated entities, renewed its 20,320 s/f lease and will continue to occupy the space on the 24th floor of the property.

61 Broadway serves as the executive headquarters for The American Lung Association, one of the oldest voluntary health organizations in the United States, which has also renewed its 20,000 s/f lease on the entire 6th floor.

The newest tenant, Robinson & McDonald, a law firm specializing in corporate law will occupy 3,018 s/f of newly leased office space on the 14th floor. This firm has relocated from their prior Midtown office.

"Leasing activity has remained strong during the first half of the year, with renewals attributing a substantial amount to the total number," commented Blanco.

"61 Broadway remains over 95% occupied due to new tenants attracted to the flexible pre-built office space and existing tenants benefiting from the ownership's hands-on management style."
